Fighting for Clean Water
Everyone deserves clean, safe water. From protecting drinking water from lead, PFAS and nitrate contamination to defending our state’s critical wetlands, we are the leader in protecting Wisconsin’s critical water resources.
Water Issues in Wisconsin
Industrial manufacturing, food processing and agricultural production are all significant contributors to the water quality issues we face in Wisconsin. Clean Wisconsin is working at every turn to identify, remediate, and eradicate these contaminants wherever possible.
Farming for the Future
For decades, farmers in Wisconsin have produced abundant food and fuel for the world. But today, we are seeing the great environmental harm that has been brought by many conventional agricultural practices. That’s why Clean Wisconsin is working with farmers to chart a new course for our food system that will reverse the decline of our precious water resources, rebuild soil health, and address the challenges posed by climate change.
