Digital & Social Media Content Specialist

The Digital & Social Media Content Specialist will report to our Communications Director and work closely with our Communications Team to ensure timely, clear and consistent messaging reaches a variety of diverse, statewide audiences. Responsibilities include creating and updating our social media calendar, implementing social media campaigns, and measuring the success of our communications by tracking website and social media analytics. This position will also help update our extensive website, ensuring accurate, relevant information is always front and center.    

 

Clean Buildings Manager

The Clean Buildings Manager will work with Clean Wisconsin’s Climate, Energy & Air Program Director and Government Relations Director to develop and execute a successful and sustainable strategy to advance building decarbonization, efficiency, indoor air quality and electrification across the state. Most urgently, the Manager will work with a team of experts to build a strong foundation for Wisconsin building code adoption, compliance, and local support pursuant to a three-year grant from the Department of Energy.

Resilient Communities Program Internships

The resilient communities intern will assist the green infrastructure manager in community outreach and installation of small-scale green infrastructure on public and private property in the City of Milwaukee.

Development & Events Internships

This intern will assist our Development Team with fundraising and membership activities. Responsibilities include managing donor cultivation and stewardship, working on brand visibility, and gaining experience and insight into other areas of non-profit experience like communications, event planning, public relations and grants.

Law Student Internship & Externship Programs

Clean Wisconsin offers law students the opportunity to learn about and practice environmental law. Clean Wisconsin offers a semester-long, for-credit externship program open to UW-Madison Students, and a full-time summer internship program for students from any law school.

Communications Internships

Clean Wisconsin occasionally offers internships to assist our Communications Team with our social media accounts, newsletters, website, and much more.

Science & Policy Internships

Clean Wisconsin has a number of science and policy internships available throughout the year for undergraduate and graduate students in agricultural science, environmental science, political science, public health, or other related fields. Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong analytic and technical abilities, excellent writing skills, and an interest in and commitment to addressing environmental issues facing Wisconsin.

Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) Research Internships

Natural Climate Solutions Research Interns will assist Clean Wisconsin’s Natural Climate Solutions team in support of our emerging natural climate solutions work.  Topics will include agro-economic analyses, GIS mapping, and policy development. Open to graduate or advanced undergraduate students.
