An Epicurean Evening 2014: A Night to Be Remembered

It’s that time of year—plans for our second annual fundraising gala, An Epicurean Evening, are well underway!

With our second event fast approaching, it’s hard to believe it’s already been almost a year ago since we hosted our first Epicurean Evening. We weren’t exactly sure what to expect, but thanks to our awesome team of event planners, sponsors, auction item donors, chefs and mixologists, the sold-out event was better than anything we could have imagined!

We were joined by several celebrity chefs and mixologists who were excited to support our environmental efforts. The evening started outside with craft cocktails and friends under the tent, quickly followed by our silent auction and wine pull.

table eeInside, we welcomed guests to the beautifully set dining room overlooking Lake Mendota. As courses were served, each chef introduced their dish and shared why a clean Wisconsin mattered to them and their businesses. Finally, we concluded the night with a decadent desert and bids on the final live auction item, and we raised our glasses to another year of clean air, clean water and clean energy.

Thanks to the generosity of all our Epicurean Evening attendees, Clean Wisconsin raised thousands of dollars to support our ongoing efforts to keep this state a wonderful place to live, work and play. With the such strong support, Clean Wisconsin has been able to see through a bill protecting our Great Lakes from microbeads, defend clean water in Kewaunee County, garner a major legal victory for Wisconsin’s groundwater and much more.
