Jessi Corcoran (she/her) is a Project Director at Health in Partnership (HIP), where she provides health equity training and technical assistance to public health practitioners across the country. She holds a BA in English and Gender Studies from Indiana University and a Master of Public Health from Boston University.
Prior to HIP, Jessi has worked in non-profit, academic, and government settings, always with a focus on applying a gender and racial justice lens to public health. More recently, she has worked to advance a transformative narrative about our shared fates and what creates health.
Jessi has fallen in love with Wisconsin’s great outdoors since moving here in 2014. She spends her weekends hiking and exploring nature with her partner and two sons, and is passionate about protecting these places for them and for future generations. In the rest of her free time, if she isn’t refereeing wrestling matches between her kids, she is probably crocheting or working on her first novel.
