Nancy Retana graduated from Carthage College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Spanish. In December 2019, she graduated with a Master of Public Administration degree with a focus in municipal management from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

As the Strategic Communications Specialist, Jacob Ahrens-Balwit coordinates Clean Wisconsin’s integrated communications strategy and amplifies the organization’s work on key environmental issues.
Tamar Cloyd is the principal consultant of The Antidote LLC, a fundraising and communications firm that supports nonprofits in fulfilling their mission.
As Government Relations Director, Erik Kanter guides Clean Wisconsin’s legislative and policy initiatives through the state legislature and state agencies. His knowledge of the legislative process and relationships with key state officials support the advancement of Clean Wisconsin’s policymaking goals.
As Office Administrator, Kaysee is responsible for keeping the office running smoothly and providing administrative and organizational support to the President/CEO, Board of Directors, and Staff. Prior to joining Clean Wisconsin, Kaysee served as a Legislative Assistant to State Senator Patty Schachtner.
In his role as Membership and Outreach Manager, Luke Voegeli is responsible for engaging and growing Clean Wisconsin’s membership base. Luke works to ensure that members are continuously engaged in ways that support the organization statement.
Maithilee Kanthi joined Clean Wisconsin as the Climate Justice Organizer in early 2021, bringing her background in community organizing and climate justice to build broad support for climate solutions across Wisconsin.
