Overview
Tell the Public Service Commission to approve Columbia Wind!
Right now, the Public Service Commission is considering whether to approve Columbia Wind, a 277-megawatt wind farm planned for southeast Columbia County.
Wind projects are a critical part of Wisconsin embracing clean, reliable energy and phasing out harmful fossil fuels. Strong local voices (like yours!) are crucial to project support, especially when opposition and misinformation often dominate the conversation.
Help bring clean energy to Columbia County
Over the course of its 30-year life, Columbia Wind will bring direct economic benefits to Columbia County including $41.6 million for hosting communities and Columbia County (Columbus, Springvale, Courtland, Otsego, Hampden and Fountain Prairie), along with lease payments for farmers and landowners.
