Celebrating African American Environmental Pioneers

Clean Wisconsin was proud to sponsor this year’s African American Environmental Pioneer Awards, hosted at the Ivy House in downtown Milwaukee on February 19. The fifth annual award AAEPA ceremony honored members of the Milwaukee African American community for their leadership in environmental work.

From advocates to scientists and entrepreneurs, Black environmental leaders have pioneered solutions for sustainable development and environmental justice across Wisconsin, the country, and the world.
