The first ever first-ever Wisconsin Neonic Forum, held on October 30th, 2024 at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Neonicotinoid insecticides, or “neonics,” are neurotoxins intended to attack the central nervous systems of targeted insects.

Neonics are the most widely used insecticides in Wisconsin, applied to millions of acres of agricultural and urban land each year. But research is beginning to reveal unintended harms.
