As the Clean Buildings Manager, Tom works to shape state and local policy around building decarbonization, electrification and efficiency in Wisconsin. They advocate for programs that support healthy and efficient home upgrades for all Wisconsinites, and they help local governments plan for sustainable growth.
Tom recently received a Master of Public Affairs and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Indiana University, with concentrations in environmental justice and sustainable development. During his studies, Tom held positions at the EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation and at a Portuguese conservation nonprofit called Liga Para a Protecção da Natureza.
