Ryan is a Managing Director and head of the Syndicate Department of Robert W. Baird’s Equity Capital Markets Desk (ECM) / Investment Banking (IB). Ryan has been with Baird since 2003 and has worked in his current function since 2005. Prior to joining the ECM / IB team, he worked in Baird’s Finance Department. He holds a B.A. in Organizational Administration with Minors in Economics and Communications from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (after spending a couple years at Luther College, Decorah IA).
Ryan had served over 11 years with Broadscope Disability Services (formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Southeastern Wisconsin), with many years spent on the finance committee and the fundraising committee. He spent the last couple years as Board President and oversaw their Strategic Plan and a Director transition. He continues to volunteer on their Joe’s Run committee.
Ryan is married to Heidi Engelhardt, and they have a playful puppy named “Bowie.”
