Logan Rude

As Digital & Social Media Content Specialist, Logan works alongside the rest of the communications team to share the organization’s work across its social media platforms and website in order to inform and educate the public on the latest policy and legal updates, in addition to promoting the organization’s community-based work.

Prior to joining Clean Wisconsin, Logan worked as a digital reporter and assignment editor for News 3 Now, where he covered a variety of environmental topics including the impacts of droughts on the state’s agriculture industry, Dane County’s waterways and more. He’s a contributing writer for Madison Magazine where he’s also written stories about what lies underneath the surfaces of Madison’s lakes and the city’s food scene.

Logan earned a B.A. in Journalism and Strategic Communication from UW-Madison. During his time at the university, Logan also worked as a campus tour guide and wrote for several on-campus publications, including the Daily Cardinal.

Favorite things to do outdoors in Wisconsin: Checking state parks off of a lengthy camping list, swimming in as many lakes and rivers as possible, and documenting it all on film.
