Julia Prohaska is an independent business consultant working with commercial and non-profit organizations defining long range strategic plans and improving practices in strategy, leadership, marketing, and organizational effectiveness. Previously, Ms. Prohaska spent her career in business including 20 years with locally founded American Girl. She has participated on various Madison boards.
Ms. Prohaska is a native of Madison and a proud UW Madison Alum. She enjoys live music, gardening, yoga, meditation, and reading with her lap dog …. a 65-pound golden retriever. She loves Wisconsin’s natural spaces—her favorite spot is a sparkling stretch of Lake Superior’s south shore in Northern Wisconsin. Julia lives in Middleton with her husband David and their daughters attend school in Madison.
