Brett Korte

Brett recently joined Clean Wisconsin to advocate on air, climate, and energy issues.

Previously, Brett was a Staff Attorney and department head at the Environmental Law Institute in Washington, D.C, and most recently, a Clinical Fellow at the University of California, Irvine School of Law Environmental Law Clinic. At UCI, Brett both supervised student attorneys and directly represented clients including community-based, regional, and national environmental organizations. His docket was centered around public lands protection and environmental justice, including litigation in state and federal court and administrative advocacy before local and statewide agencies.

Brett holds a B.A. in History from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a J.D. and Certificate of Specialization in Environmental Law from Tulane University.

Brett is an avid backpacker and angler, and can’t wait to take up some winter sports in Wisconsin.
