As an Engagement and Program Coordinator, Jazmin supports the Resilient Communities’ Program by coordinating outreach, engagement and program activities in Milwaukee. Her role is to build relationships with community members and partners, coordinate community-facing activities, and ensure strong communication across Clean Wisconsin Staff and stakeholders.

Prior to joining Clean Wisconsin, Jazmin interned with the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District as a Fresh Coast Intern for three summers, and as a Public Engagement intern during her final year of undergrad. She installed residential-scale green infrastructure, such as rain barrels, rain gardens, and stormwater trees. Through these experiences she found her passion and interest in community engagement, stormwater management, and bridging the gap between government and community voices in the environmental realm.

Jazmin earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University in Environmental Science. She is currently finishing her Master’s degree in Freshwater Sciences with a concentration in Water Policy, at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
