Support clean water and climate change initiatives in Governor Evers’ State Budget proposal

Join Clean Wisconsin in supporting these important clean water and climate change initiatives in Governor Evers’ State Budget proposal!

With the many challenges facing Wisconsinites including unsafe drinking water, impacts from climate change, and living through a global pandemic – the Governor’s budget proposal includes important equitable initiatives to both help Wisconsin families and sustain a strong economy.

The 2021-23 State Budget  focuses on helping people around the state address the problems they’re facing daily. This includes major funding for water quality issues like PFAS and rural drinking water pollution, bold initiatives to help Wisconsinites deal with the impacts from climate change like flooding, and new commitments to address inequities and disparities in our communities.

The governor’s proposals in the state budget not only help protect the environment and public health, but will create good paying jobs and boost the economy.

While the governor’s budget invests in solutions for a strong environment, economy, and communities, Wisconsin still has one of the least active legislatures in the nation.

We need you! It’s more important than ever to contact your legislator and tell them to support the important water quality and climate change initiatives in the Governor’s state budget.
