Tell Gov. Evers and state lawmakers: Move the Climate Change Task Force recommendations forward.

Today, the Governor’s Task Force on Climate Change unveiled their recommendations for the ways in which the state can tackle climate change by reducing carbon emissions while also equitably stimulating the economy, creating new jobs, and protecting public health.

With climate change posing a constant threat to Wisconsin families, it’s critical our state decision-makers move forward quickly to implement these recommendations.

These recommendations are the result of over a year of work by a bipartisan and broad group of people and stakeholders across the state, including  Clean Wisconsin. They represent a wide range of ideas on the best way to move forward on the urgent and timely issue of climate change.

We can’t wait when it comes to cutting carbon emissions, jumpstarting our economy after COVID-19, getting people back to work, and protecting the health of all Wisconsin communities. We need lawmakers and the governor to enact these recommendations.

Tell Gov. Evers and state lawmakers: move the Climate Change Task Force recommendations forward.
