In his role as Content Manager, Oliver Redsten travels around Wisconsin producing original video and audio stories about the state’s environment. His documentary series focuses specifically on climate change, contamination, and Wisconsinites who are dealing with the consequences.
Before joining the Clean Wisconsin, Oliver was the political reporter for WINK-TV—the CBS affiliate for Southwest Florida. In that position, Oliver spent much of his time on the campaign trail covering the 2018 Midterms and the Florida Recount. But after reporting on two major hurricanes and an unprecedented water quality crisis in just a two-year span, he knew he had to devote his career to protecting the environment.
Oliver graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami as the Outstanding Senior in the School of Communication. His work has received regional and national recognition from the Associated Press, the Society of Professional Journalists, the National Broadcasting Society, and the Broadcast Education Association.
A Madison native, Oliver loves spending time on Lake Mendota, singing karaoke, and cheering on the Badgers.
