Ezra Meyer, Water Resources Specialist

Joined April 2008

Ezra is an integral part of Clean Wisconsin’s water team, bringing his background in water policy and science to bear on our water-related work at the state level and in the Greater Milwaukee watersheds flowing into Lake Michigan in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Prior to Clean Wisconsin, he served as education specialist at Wisconsin Association of Lakes for more than four years. For over fifteen years, he has served on the board of directors of the Friends of the Mukwonago River, a nonprofit watershed advocacy organization he co-founded in southeastern Wisconsin. For five years, he has served as an appointee of the Dane County Executive on the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District Commission.

He studied economics and environmental studies at UW-Madison and returned to the UW for double master’s degrees in urban and regional planning and water resources management.

Favorite things to do outdoors in Wisconsin: Anything involving water (paddling, swimming, sailing) or snow (skiing: downhill and cross country, snowshoeing), and camping.
