Belle Bergner is the Executive Director of the North American Invasive Species Management Association. She is also the owner of Bergner Associates, a consulting firm based in Milwaukee, WI, that provides nonprofit management and meeting planning services to environmental, educational, and scientific organizations across the United States. Belle has 14+ years of experience in nonprofit management, program management, and coalition building. She is also on the Review Board of the Children’s Learning Center at UW-Milwaukee. In between receiving her BA in Biology from Mount Holyoke College and MS in Ecology from the University of Pennsylvania with training in environmental management, law and policy, Belle was an Outward Bound Instructor and managed ecological research projects in Minnesota and West Virginia.
She grew up in Connecticut, spending her formative years hiking the New England Appalachians, canoeing Adirondack lakes, and generally trying to spend as much time as possible in the outdoors. She currently lives on the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, WI, with her active family and dog, still trying to spend as much time as possible outside.
