Clean Energy Jobs Act:

Moving Wisconsin Forward
A $16 billion river of dirty fossil fuels flows into Wisconsin every year, draining our economy, polluting our air and water, and contributing to global warming.
We can become more energy independent, clean our environment, and invest in our own economy by putting hard-working Wisconsinites to work replacing these out-of-state fossil fuels with homegrown energy solutions like biofuels, wind and solar energy production.
To encourage the transition away from dirty foreign fossil fuels and toward homegrown energy, state leaders have crafted new legislation known as The Clean Energy Jobs Act to foster the growth of clean energy industries and create jobs by ensuring Wisconsin becomes a leader in the manufacturing and production of clean energy solutions.
Big oil and coal companies realize that, with this legislation, Wisconsin will be able to produce much of our own fuel and become more energy independent, hurting their bottom line. In response, they’ve flooded the Capitol with lobbyists and are spending millions on misinformation campaigns trying to weaken or kill this bill.
With your support, we can win this fight, and look forward to a cleaner, healthier, more prosperous and energy independent future in Wisconsin.
