We need your global warming story. Please take just a few minutes to tell us your story. In order to keep the issue fresh in the media and open the eyes of your fellow Wisconsinites it is imperative that people understand how global warming is affecting them everyday right here in Wisconsin.

Perhaps you’ve noticed flowers blooming earlier, wetlands and small lakes that have dried up or shrank significantly, altered weather patterns or changing migration patterns of native animals. All of these changes and thousands of others could be the result of global warming, but we need to hear your stories to find out

For example, Clean Wisconsin volunteer Karen Stevenson notes: a well-known tree expert came to my house to look at a couple of trees with problems and noted the presence of both Japanese beetles and gypsy moths in my yard were a result of global warming. These species are more common in the South, but are moving north because the winters aren't killing the larvae.

Your stories will help us fight global warming. Clean Wisconsin has assembled a team of leading researchers, academics and scientists to review your reports of the effects of global warming. Your stories can help spur new scientific research, provide new avenues for the media to pursue stories about the local effects of global warming, help Clean Wisconsin identify new coalition, or help convince a former global warming skeptic to join us in the fight to stop global warming.
